This is my fist blog post and just a little note from me to say hi and thanks for supporting me, my artwork or my projects (POPPED CREATIVE) (SIGNIFY 30) over the past few years. Whether you’re a close friend or you have no idea who I am, I would love to take this moment to re-introduce myself. I’m Liesel. I’m an artist, creative director and mum of two girls.
The last few years have been a wild ride between The Signify 30 Project at 8 months pregnant, starting and leaving Popped Creative and trying to maintain basic sanity in amongst raising two little kids, multiple businesses, what felt like zero creativity and navigating years of postnatal depression. Although it’s been full of ups and downs, when I look back it’s all given me the experience and growth that makes me who I am today. I’m particularly grateful for those women and men who have inspired me with their own stories and insight which helped me overcome my mistakes and obstacles along the way.
Within this space I will be sharing art, stories about creativity and personal development and support for creatives as they embark on the wild ride that is parenthood.
